Losing the love of my life,
It’ like someone yanked the knife
out from my bleeding heart.

My life was falling apart
so how do I restart,
because I know I played a big part.

God has blown out the old flame
in my broken shredded heart
and replaced it with a more powerful flame
in my new heart.

With God in my life
no one can blow out this eternal flame.

With God there’s no shame.
So I’m starting a new game
with new players and new prayers.

Lord you have broken my chains.
and I’m no longer bound,
because You’ve given me wings
like an eagle now I can abound .

Now that you set me free,
It’s time to let the world see,
the new me new hopes ,
new dreams ,and louder screams.
